Consumers are increasingly adding superfoods, nuts, croutons, fruit, pine nuts and seeds to meals. We supply a very wide range of these products, categorised into the following groups.
Pine nuts have become increasingly popular in recent years. They are highly flavoursome and are used in salads, in desserts and to make Italian pesto. Together with sunflower seeds and pumpkin seeds, they are the most popular seeds for culinary use.
Croutons are cubed and seasoned and are used to add texture and flavour to salads, notably the Ceasar salad. Croutons are available in various flavours.
Superfoods have high nutrient contents and/or a high concentration of bioactive ingredients such as vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. Examples are various fruits and seeds such as Goji berries, mulberries, Chia seeds and cacao nibs. We can supply a wide assortment of fruit and nuts. Combined with a suitable packaging, they can be used to satisfy every snacking moment. One possibility, for example, is to supply a nut mix in a portion for adding to a salad.
We supply a wide range of dried tropical fruit, such as figs, dates, raisins and apricots. These have been used in recipes and meals in restaurants for many years, and can now also be supplied as an enrichment, for example to add to yoghurt or breakfast cereals.
